I 2 TON PREDATOR sono un gruppo groove thrash fondato a Örebro (Svezia) nel 1993, subito col moniker di Wedge. Artefici di un thrash metal che deve molto a Entombed e Pantera, hanno prodotto una articolata discografia, tutta in maniera indipendente. Nel loro myspace si legge, alla voce "Label": ANY LABEL THAT WON'T DICK US OVER. Letteralmente, "qualsiasi etichetta che non ce la metta nel culo".
